Gary Zarra

President

Gary Zarra is a second-generation entrepreneur born and raised in Greenwich, CT with 30 years of experience in construction. His father came over from Italy in 1965 and started Greenwich Flooring. Gary's father put him to work at the prime age of 11, taught him everything he knew and raised him in the business. Not only did they run a successful flooring business, but they also purchased, renovated, maintained and rented 9 homes throughout Greenwich over the years. 

Gary eventually took over Greenwich Flooring and expanded from specializing in custom floors to custom renovations. Throughout the years, Gary ran a successful business without even so much as a basic website! All of his jobs were solely word-of-mouth recommendations through satisfied clients. No project is too small or difficult for Gary.

As the President for Wheelhouse Properties and with 30 years of experience behind him, Gary has first-hand knowledge of all things related to real estate development, full-scale home remodeling, new construction and of course, his first love, custom flooring.
